JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: CONTENDERS
- ALEX MOSS (HMH) - rounded off a top performance with an outstanding free-kick that Messi would've been proud of
- ADAM ELLIS (Bayern Mincha) - belter from 25 yards flew into top corner giving keeper absolutely no chance
- ALON PINHAS (Bayern Mincha) - left-foot screamer from outside the box hammered into the roof of the net
- ROCKY SPITZER (Hendon Utd) - received the ball on the edge of the box before committing two Faithfold defenders, dragging the ball away from the leaving them sliding into each other before finishing into the bottom corner off the post
- DEAN ROSENTHAL (Los Camden A) - ran powerfully onto a pass and from 30 yards out took his shot early and whipped a dipping ball into the top corner completely stranding the keeper in his footsteps, there was a sharp intake of breath before jubilant celebrations as the crowd registered what had happened
- OLI SADE (Los Camden A) - sprinkled some star-dust onto proceedings and skipped past two players curling a shot towards the top corner
- RICHARD SALMON (FC Team) - David Cohen picked up the ball in our half and with the outside of the boot played an unbelievable through pass round the back of the fortune defence spotting the run of Salmon to just apply the finish
- MITCH YOUNG (FC Team) - picked up the ball in the centre of midfield beat the man then played the ball out right to Eddie Sternberg, Young carried on his run into the box and Sternberg picked him out with a brilliant cross to Young to thunder home the header
- BEN SHIRBINI (Faithfold A) - scored one of the most spectacular goals you will see, received the ball with his back to goal, turned well and then proceeded to dance past five Hendon players, leaving them all on a heap on the floor then planted the ball right into the top corner leaving the keeper with no chance
- JAMES JACONELLI (Fairlop FC) - once again JJ has delivered for us when it matters! After a fantastic ball through the lines from Mitch Gold, JJ collected the ball 20 yards from goal, turns and smashed the ball low and hard into the bottom right corner to send the fairlop ultras into wild celebrations

JC SAVE OF THE WEEK: CONTENDERS
- JAKE SANDERS (Fairlop FC) - 1-0 up, five minutes to go, furious shot from 20 yards out which is heading for the top corner, Jake makes a fingertip save around the post to secure the three points
- DEAN CAPLIN (Redbridge JC A) - did not have too much to do, but made an amazing point-blank save in the second half to keep the scores at 2-2. World-class save from the RJC A keeper

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: CONTENDERS
- SIMON LINDEN (Temple Fortune) - "It didn’t rain, it poured - FC Team must have signed some players this week because there’s no way this group of players lost two games prior to today. We didn’t show up either, bad day and one to forget quickly!"
- AVI GOLDBERG (HMH) - "We created numerous chances with quick free flowing football and restricted Brady to three chances. What more can I ask? Just to turn up and repeat this performance every week"
- JOEL NATHAN (Brady Maccabi) - "Let's just say the better team won today in horrible conditions. HMH are a very strong team who have come into the league and are serious contenders, if not favourites for the league. Good luck to them"
- STIRLING KAY (Los Camden A) - "I've ordered my players not to shake lulav and etrog this week, I don’t want any injury risks and want them rested and fit for next week!"
- DAN KRISTALL (Oakwood A) - "Missing nine regular first-team players, losing the keeper in the warm-up and not having a striker was not the ideal preparation but that shouldn't be taken away from our visitors. Stirling works hard and has a good bunch of players. They will take point off plenty. Especially if they defend as well as that"
- AVI MARKIEWICZ (Faithfold A) - "We can take from this that we scored four against the champions and Ben Shirbini probably scored the goal of the game - dancing past 5 of their players - but at this level if you don’t have your regulars you will be punished and we were punished severely"
- SAM RANK (Redbridge JC A) - "The result feels like a defeat, which says it all. I expect a backlash at Scrabble next week. Maybe a late cricket season score"

HMH 6 BRADY MACCABI 0
A deadly double from Oscar Wagner saw HMH maintain their winning start after turning on the style to hit Brady Maccabi for six in front of the JC cameras. Birthday boy Alex Moss, Dom Feldman, Josh Goldstein and George Goldberg completed the route at a wet and windy Hive.
HMH boss Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: "I sent the lads out with a very aggressive 2-4-4 game plan in terrible weather conditions. The lads executed the plan to perfection. Another Sunday and another victory with a clean sheet. We created numerous chances with quick free flowing football and restricted Brady to three chances. What more can I ask? Just to turn up and repeat this performance every week."
Brady manager Joel Nathan told JC Sport: "Let's just say the better team won today in horrible conditions. HMH are a very strong team who have come into the league and are serious contenders, if not favourites for the league. Good luck to them. The positive from our side was having Rob Cohen back for his first game in a year after his serious knee injury."

HENDON UNITED SPORTS 10 FAITHFOLD DOC MM A 4
Trebles from ZAC LEWIS, CHAIM KORMAN and ROCKY SPITZER Hendon United won the battle of the champions after crushing Faithfold A 10-4 at Hadley FC. Jonti Aremband completed the rout on a memorable morning for Jordan Sapler's men.
Faithfold's goals came via Ben Shirbini, Louis Naghten, Johnny Gahan and Chaim Bordon.
A jubilant Sapler told JC Sport: "We didn't have the best preparation for this game and the pressure was starting to build on the team after a poor first couple of games. I asked for a reaction and for a message to be sent out to the league and the boys delivered."
Faithfold's Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "Without our entire starting backline of Avi Mocton, Josh Wagner, David Kizneris and Gideon Caller, we were always going to struggle. Going forward wasn’t the problem but we couldn’t contain them on the break and they scored 10 of their 14 attacks. Credit to Chaim Korman and Rocky Spitzer who really made the difference for them today."
DC Prediction: Hendon 2 Faithfold 1

OAKWOOD A 2 LOS CAMDEN A 5
Los Camden A produced the result of the week as they overcame League Cup winners Oakwood A 5-2. A stunning 30-yard strike from Dean Rosenthal had given Los Camden a first-half advantage. Dan Orgel doubled the lead early in the second half before Josh Cuby won and converted a penalty for Oakwood. Oli Sade restored the visitors' two-goal lead with a stunning solo effort before adding another, and Johann Jordi sealed the win with a dangerous free-kick that curled in through a crowd of players.
Los Camden's Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "The three up front looked dangerous and were all rewarded with goals for their hard work and tiring shifts they put in. Our substitutes came on and helped us get over the line, it was our team ethic and hard work which gave us this win."
Oaks joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "A terrible day at the office. Fair play to Camden who counter attacked well but anything that could go wrong did."
DC Prediction: Oakwood 3 Los Camden 0

ADAM ELLIS (3) made it eight goals in three games as Bayern Mincha produced their Sunday best to blow Scrabble away with a 6-0 triumph.
Philippe Auret, Samuel Kanter and Alon Pinhas completed the scoring to leave joint-manager Daniel Holder purring. He told JC Sport: "The backroom staff couldn’t be more satisfied with the performance. Meanwhile, speed merchant Harry Salter is looking ever so fresh at the beginning of the season with him looking to Blitz his way to the treble."
Scrabble boss Ray Abrahams reflected on "a very frustrating morning for us as we finished the game with just nine players and no goalkeeper." He told JC Sport: "I’m so proud of the way we carried on fighting after the setbacks. We will go again next week and try again to turn around our poor start to the season. I feel we are not too far away from getting some points on the board but it’s a tough competitive division this year."

FAIRLOP FC 1 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS 0
Fairlop finished the weekend top on goal difference after edging out North London Raiders.
Fairlop chief Aaron Dias told JC Sport: "As always the boys showed great character and togetherness out there in very tough conditions. But what I really liked about the performance was on top of that hard work off the ball we had the quality on the ball that in the end proved too much for Raiders."
NLR's Gideon Gale told JC Sport: The Fairlop players reaction at full time says it all ... they knew they were in a game and were lucky to grab the points. Credit to their boys, they were difficult to break down but without their keeper it’s a different game."
DC Prediction: Fairlop 2 NLR 1

RJC boss Sam Rank told JC Sport: "The football that we played in the opening 30 minutes was sensational, and this should of been enough to kill the game off, but fair play to Jewdiense for battling back."

FC TEAM 9 TEMPLE FORTUNE 1
FC Team's season is finally up and running, thanks in large to a fab four-goal salvo from RICHARD SALMON, as they put Temple Fortune to the sword by the tune of 9-1. Player-manager Mitch Young (2), Eddie Sternberg, new boy Conor Perl and Dave Cohen added the gloss.
FC Team's Mitch Young told JC Sport: "After two tough defeats I told the players in the changing room enough is enough and it is time we start taking our football and opponents more seriously. Temple Fortune felt the full force of this. We were sensational today all across the pitch."
Josh Lewis scored Fortune's consolation. Manager Simon Linden told JC Sport: "It didn’t rain, it poured - FC Team must have signed some players this week because there’s no way this group of players lost two games prior to today. We didn’t show up either, bad day and one to forget quickly!"

NORTH LONDON RAIDERS MASTERS 2 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B 1
James Cartmell scored twice as North London Raiders Masters recorded their first win since joining the MGBSFL, humbling Redbridge B 2-1.
Steve Summers netted for the east Londoners who were beaten for the first time.
Player-manager Cartmell told JC Sport: "It was an obviously a very satisfying result, having fought back from 1-0 in the closing stages, but also an enjoyable game played in pouring rain. Indeed we showed great spirit to overturn a lead for the second week in a row. We defended well and played some really good football on the zippy surface; the centre midfield of Matt Kleinman, Dan Hodes and Nicky Skone were especially instrumental in the second half."
DC Prediction: Raiders 1 Redbridge 2

SCRABBLE FC B 3 SPEC FC 1
A brilliant brace from new arrival Brad Lazarus earned Scrabble B their first win. Jez King was also on target as the Masters condemned SPEC FC to their first defeat of the season.
Jubilant Scrabble boss Jon Yantin told JC Sport: "Scrabble rolled out the MSFL legends today, with Bradley Lazarus and Max Radford making their debuts alongside stalwarts Lee Levenson, Jonny Summerfield and Jon Yantin. Lazarus (2) and a third from handsome centre back Jez King saw us run out worthywinners against a young energetic SPEC team."
SPEC FC player-manager Ricky Lawrence converted a penalty to make it 1-1 at half-time but he gave an honest assessment of the game. "Absolutely no complaints from us today, we were beaten by the better side today," he told JC Sport. "Scrabble B were well organised, worked hard and took their chances. While we were poor, it would be unfair to blame just us being off our game as to the reason we lost today.”
DC Prediction: Scrabble 1 SPEC 2
