JC GOAL OF THE WEEK: CONTENDERS
- ALEX MOSS (HMH) - classy finish after nice work down the left-hand side and a neat one-two with Josh Goldstein
- JOSH BHARIER (Oakwood A) - simply stunning effort from the halfway line. See it to believe!
- SAM RANK (Redbridge JC A) - with scores the level at 1-1, a ball was header out to player-manager Rank who showed great technical ability from 20+ yards to volley the ball into the top corner leaving the Mincha keeper with no chance. Pure tekkers
- JEREMY BORNSTEIN (Faithfold Doc MM A) - a smashing finish from outside the box that flew into the top corner
---------------------
JC SAVE OF THE WEEK: CONTENDERS
- STEVEN MURAD (Los Camden A) - after a Jerzy Dudek goal-line jiggle, Steven dived powerfully to his left to palm away a well-struck penalty that was destined for the bottom corner, a great piece of athleticism
- MATT KEMP (Redbridge JC A) - a sensational save from the RJC A stopper. A driving shot from the Mincha midfielder was spectacular tipped over the bar

JC QUOTE OF THE WEEK: CONTENDERS
- JAKE SANDERS (Fairlop FC) - "We thought the cup was this week, but we’re hearing it’s cup again next week as we’re playing in Redbridge’s cup final"
- JASON STEIN (Oakwood B) - “We’ll rue a few chances missed at the death of extra time that could have taken the tie to penalties, but likewise Fairlop will not want to see our GK Ben Lewis again in a hurry who made some phenomenal saves"
- SAM RANK (Redbridge JC A) - "Our squad was tested today, with a number of players being rested for the mouth-watering game against Fairlop - luckily the player-manager can score worldies!"
- RAY ABRAHAMS (Scrabble FC A) - QUOTE 1 - "A word for the guys who rolled back the years today superbly ... Nigel Goldthorpe, Andy Miller,Serge Cowan, Alex Bourne and Jeremy King, and the younger guys like Oli Richardson and Barnaby Powell, who were outstanding against a top side"
- RAY ABRAHAMS (Scrabble FC A) - QUOTE 2 - "To be honest, although we are now out of the Peter Morrison Trophy, today’s game gave us the chance of a break from the league and the boys all played with a smile on their face for the first time in a while”
- JACOB EMANUEL (Hertswood Vale) - Josh Cinna deserves a place in the team of the week. When I say we didn’t trouble the Dons too much, what I really mean is, Josh Cinna stopped us in our tracks on every occasion. Without a doubt the best centre-back in our division, he definitely should be playing at a higher level - If Jordan Sapler is reading this, put him on your radar!"

PETER MORRISON TROPHY ROUND ONE
OAKWOOD A 8 MACCABI LONDON LIONS VETS 2
JOSH BHARIER fired his second hat-trick of the season as Oakwood exacted revenge on Lions Vets with an easy 8-2 success in Wembley.
There were also goals for Josh Cuby, Ben Peppi, Toby Levy and David Woolman in the Oakwood rout.
Oaks joint-manager Dan Kristall told JC Sport: "It was a tremendous performance and revenge for last year's shock exit at the same stage. We showed that we learned the lessons from last year."
Paul Hakim and Lee Cash scored consolation goals for the Lions, and boss Dan Jacobs told JC Sport: "It was ultimately a day of what could go wrong did go wrong – shorn of 6 central defenders and then losing Bitton-Price and Levack to early injuries, Oakwood took full advantage. It was a bad day to be consigned to the history books immediately with focus on key league and cup games as the month plays out."
Oakwood: Botchin, Pistol, Cantor T, Lee A, Warner, Peppi, Stone, Bharier, Bentwood K, Cuby, Levy Subs: Bentwood J, Woolman, Cohen D
LIONS: Abrahams, Rayner, Berg, Harvey, J. Bentley, Levack, Pearl, Stanton, Cash, Bitton-Price, Conway. Subs: Gold, Hakim
DC Prediction: Oakwood 1 Lions 1 (Oakwood to win on penalties)

BAYERN MINCHA 2 REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A 4
Two more goals from Nate Kashket, plus one apiece from joint-player-manager Sam Rank and Jamie Bernstein, ensured Redbridge warmed-up for next week's showdown against local rivals Fairlop by extending their unbeaten run with an entertaining 4-2 win at Bayern.
A delighted Rank told JC Sport: "Our current form is very similar to Spurs - performance levels nowhere near the ability they can produce, but win after win. Results win leagues- not performances."
DC Prediction: Bayern 1 RJC 3
---------------------
---------------------
BRADY MACCABI 1 LOS CAMDEN A 2
Los Camden A piled more misery on Premier Division rivals Brady with a hard-fought 2-1 win at Rowley Lane, thanks to strikes from Oli Sade and a 90th-minute winner from Elliot Meslawy.
Brady's goal came via Ricky Rinder.
Manager Stirling Kay told JC Sport: "Once again, I am left praising the character of my team, who got stuck in and got the result we needed in very difficult conditions."
DC Prediction: Brady 1 Los Camden 1 (Brady to win on pens)

SCRABBLE FC A 1 FAITHFOLD DOC MM A 7
A deadly double from Lorian Madanes steered Faithfold A to a big win over Scrabble. Player-manager Avi Markiewicz, Jeremy Bornstein, David Kizneris and Eli Davila added the gloss.
Faithfold player-manager Avi Markiewicz told JC Sport: "We left a lot of the regulars at home and gave an opportunity to those who haven't had much time, and they stepped up well. It was a difficult pitch to play on and things got more difficult when David Lewiy went off injured on 20 minutes. Having already lost Doron Shooter to injury, we were out of subs and had to play the rest of the game with 20 minutes. In the end it was a comfortable day at the office for Faithfold without being pushed too hard."
Scrabble's consolation came via Oli Richardson. Boss Ray Abrahams took some positives out of the performance and told JC Sport: "We came into this game with some big defeats against us in the past few weeks and, of course, with Faithfold A a level higher in the Premier Division and near the top. Although the score doesn’t suggest it, this was by far our best performance of the season and I’m so proud of my squad for the way we took the game to a top side and gave them some difficult moments in the game."
DC Prediction: Scrabble 0 Faithfold 5

HENDON UNITED SPORTS 6 NORTH LONDON GALAXY 0
Dovi Fehler scored twice as cup kings Hendon United hit Galaxy for six. Chaim Korman, Avi Korman, Zac Lewis and Rocky Spitzer added the gloss in another comfortable work-out for Jordan Sapler's troops.
Any hopes of a Galaxy upset were quickly put to bed, as Hendon boss Jordan Sapler told JC Sport: "We expected a tough game today from North London Galaxy but we scored 30 seconds in, we won the ball from a loose pass at kick-off and Chaim Korman who left his man on the floor, rolled the ball around their centre back then took it round the keeper to go ahead.
Sapler remarked: "We played some scintillating football that left Galaxy completely at sixes and sevens and unable to cope."
Galaxy player-manager Luke Lewis told JC Sport: "We conceded two early goals, which is criminal against a side like Hendon - given our injury list and amount of players injured, we came to defend and the early goals ruined our game plan."
DC Prediction: Hendon 3 Galaxy 1

HERTSWOOD VALE 3 MILL HILL DONS 4
Mill Hill Dons beat Division Two rivals Hertswood for the second time this season after coming through a seven-goal thriller. Goals from Zach Cohen, Ryan Kramer and two own goals sealed a place in round two of the National Trophy for the first time.
Vale's goals came via Danny Feuer, Ben Mandel and Alex Trup.
Dons chief Brandon Hamme told JC Sport: "We were desperate to go on a run in the Peter Morrison and it’s great to have got off to a good start. We showed our tough, gritty side today and worked hard to secure the win."
Vale joint-manager Jacob Emanuel told JC Sport: "Being a cup tie, this one had a very strange feel about it, almost like a friendly. Although we’re never happy to lose a game, it never really felt like the boys were up for this game and as I mentioned before kick off, our priority really does extend fully to the league this season."
DC Prediction: Vale 2 Dons 3

HMH 6 LOS CAMDEN B 1
Oscar Wagner made it seven goals in his last six games as HMH eased to victory against first division Los Camden. Jonny May, Alex Moss, Clark Norton and Jake Norton added their names to the scoresheet in a one-sided contest that HMH led 4-0 at half-time.
Jubilant HMH boss Avi Goldberg told JC Sport: "With many first-teamers sidelined with injury or away, and all of Abadi, Prais and Eli Wegrzyn failing late fitness tests, this could have turned into a tricky fixture but was actually a relatively straightforward win, as we started playing our A-game right from the start. We conceded a sloppy goal at 5-0 but then went straight up the other end from the restart and made it 6-1.
"Oscar continued his rich scoring vein, helping himself to two good goals, and should have had a hat trick but it was not to be. It was also good to see both the Norton brothers on the scoresheet too, and young Saul Norton banging them in for HMH U14 on pitch next door! On to next week and back to the league after three straight cup wins in a row."
Daniel Kanzen fired a consolation for Los Camden.
DC Prediction: HMH 4 Los Camden 1

OAKWOOD B 2 FAIRLOP FC 3 AET
Daniel Rosen earned Fairlop a memorable extra-time win over first division rivals Oakwood. Porter's strike added to efforts from Adam Goldman and Brad Porter’s first Fairlop goal, for a team who sights are now firmly set on the big derby against Redbridge next weekend.
Oakwood's goals came through the returning Jacob Richler-Kleiman, who marked his return from a lengthy spell on the sidelines, and Elliot Espinoza.
Fairlop's Jake Sanders told JC Sport: "Another week, another Fairlop victory. Once again we were far from our best but we stuck together and came from behind to win, as we always do. Onto next week. The treble dream remains alive."
Oaks joint-manager Jason Stein told JC Sport: "We went into the game depleted, needing to field a debutant and almost came away with a famous win. We’ll rue a few chances missed at the death of extra time that could have taken the tie to penalties."
DC Prediction: Oakwood 2 Fairlop 1

SPEC FC 0 FC TEAM 1
Star man Dan Breger was the match-winner in a tie where FC Team dug deep to secure a hard-earned win at second division rivals SPEC FC.
FC Team player-manager Mitch Young gave an honest assessment of the game. He told JC Sport: "It was an awful game of football, not much to talk about. Wwe missed a number of chances and are just pleased to finally win a scrappy game of football and progress to the next round.”
SPEC player-manager Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: "It wasn’t a game for the neutral, with an early goal for FC Team and not many other chances otherwise.”
DC Prediction: SPEC 1 FC Team 3

FAITHFOLD DOC MM C 0 NORTH LONDON RAIDERS MASTERS 4
James Cartmell and Jonny Blain bagged braces as Raiders Masters climbed to seventh in the table after overpowering Faithfold C 4-0.
Player-manager Cartmell told JC Sport: "Despite the heavy rain, the pitch held up well and we play some good passing football. We were worth our 2-0 lead at half-time. Faithfold came back into the game and pushed for goals, but we held tight with keeper James Hodari making some good saves. As the game opened up, we started to dominate possession and eventually sealed the game with two well-worked goals."
DC Prediction: Faithfold 2 Raiders 2
