REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE B 1 BRADY MACCABI 4
Reiss Mogilner smashed his sixth hat-trick of the season as Brady Maccabi closed the gap at the top with a handsome win over Redbridge.
RJC B went into this game with a lot of confidence. The game started very competitively, with RJC B on the front foot. The hosts had the better chances, and should have taken the lead when Richie Caplin missed from two yards after good work from Ben Chenoff on the left wing.
It was goalless at half-time, thanks largely to Brady centre-back Jordan Nathan, but RJC B were forced into a change with centre back Dan Andrews coming of injured with a groin strain.
Brady started the second half very quickly, and when into the lead two minutes into the half from the impressive MOGILNER. This goal changed the momentum of the game, and Brady were on top.
Brady's tight advantage sooned turned into a 4-0 lead, with the mercurial MOGILNER completing his treble in the process. MATT FROHLICH capped an excellent performance with Brady's opener and two assists.
RJC had chances to get back into the game, but hit the woodwork twice. The did, however, managed a consolation goal through David Dobrin.
Brady boss Josh Dagul told JC Sport: "It was great to finally get back to winning ways in what was a game of two halves.
"In the first half they were the better side but our defence, led by Jordan Nathan at centre half, were superb, stood strong and kept us at 0-0 at half time.
"In the second half our midfield woke up and completely took over in a relatively dominant 45 minutes."
RJC boss Sam Rank told JC Sport: "This will be a hard lesson for the RJC B boys to take, but the spirit, commitment and belief is still there.
"We move onto FC Team B next week, to prove a point and to get back to winning ways.
