Maccabi Masters review: November 20

EHRS Stonegrove took a big steps towards the Division Two title with victory over the defending champions.

Division 2 leaders EHRS Stonegrove came back from a goal down to beat last season’s double winners Maccabi London Lions B.

Gideon Barnett had given Lions the lead, but Ashley Davidson scored to bring the scores level, then struck the winner for EHRS with just minutes remaining.

The win takes EHRS 11 points clear of their nearest rivals at the top of the table and thirteen clear of Lions, who have four games in hand.

Marshside moved out of the bottom two, as hat-tricks from Barry Silkman and Grant Morgan earned them a 6-2 win over Brady B, for whom Scott Ansher and Phil Silver netted two late consolations.
