Maccabi London Lions reached the semi-finals of the Nathan Horwitz Cup after seeing off St John's Wood Tigers 4-1.

The teams were deadlocked at 1-1 until the last 10 minutes before last season's beaten finalists scored three times to settle the match.

Jason Harris (2), Simon Black and David Price registered for the Lions. Ashley Davidson struck for the Tigers.

The Lions will meet holders EDRS Stonegrove, in a repeat of last season's final, in the last four, whilst Glenthorne United will play Hendon Harriers in the other semi-final.

Brady Maccabi moved up to second place in Division One with a resounding 8-0 victory over Faithfold.

Mark Wagman led the scoring with a fab four-goal salvo, with Gavin Sherman (2), Dean Shulberg and Gabriel John completing the rout.

Scrabble Harmen secured a 3-2 win against HMH with goals from Paul Lenchner (2) and Wayne Davidson with Neil Kochane and Mark Greenfield responding.
