Maccabi Masters review: April 28

Brady Maccabi A enjoyed a thumping 7-0 win in the cup, while Maccabi London Lions hit six in the Maccabi Masters League to force a title play-off.

Brady A scored seven without reply in their Henry Swerner Cup match against Glenthorne, the goals coming from Laurence Beck (2), Mark Wagman, Steven Moss, Tim Levene, Paul Shamplina and Jonathan Cohen.

Meanwhile, in the League, Maccabi London Lions beat St John’s Wood Tigers 6-2 in the 'Big Cat' Derby, to finish their league campaign at the top of the table, level on points with Brady A.

A hat-trick from Gideon Barnett plus goals from Manny Ezekiel, Paul Lenchner and Bradley Lazarus earned maximum points for Lions, with David Hyman and Jonathan Summerfield netting for Tigers.

Lions and Brady A will now play in a league title play-off on May 12.
