Maccabi Masters League review: November 4

Glenthorne are the new leaders in the Maccabi Masters League following a crushing 8-3 triumph over former leaders Hendon Harriers.

Goals from Greg Morris (2), Jason Rich (2), Michael Nathan (2), David Simmons and Sid Shaw secured Glenthorne’s fourth win in five games. Mark Kingston, Andy Diamond and Richard Morris replied for Harriers.

St John’s Wood Tigers registered a crushing 6-2 victory over Temple Fortune.

Andrew Brummer was their hat-trick hero, with Mark Abrahams, Jonny Feinmesser and Paul Herszaft adding the gloss. Gil Ashkenazy and Alan Harounoff responded for Fortune.
