Lawrence revels in SPEC FC's finest hour

articlemain

Ricky Lawrence could not contain his delight after SPEC FC stormed into the third round of the Peter Morrison Trophy by hitting Division One joint-leaders Brady Maccabi for six.

Doubles from Dan Amram and Zack Neiman along with one apiece from Josh Hershman and Ashley Burns completed the demolition.

SPEC FC player-manager Ricky Lawrence told JC Sport: "Everything clicked for us today.

"Every player was brilliant and I genuinely don't think 6-0 flattery us at all. Our attitude was spot on and we went about our business very well."

Interim Brady boss Elliott Dagul told JC Sport: "SPEC wanted it so much more and at any level when one team wants it so much more, that attitude is more often than not rewarded. From 1-11 and from minute 1-90 they were better.

"But this now gives us the opportunity to focus on the league. We will make sure our players put this blip to the back of their minds and focus on next week's game against Raiders.'
