Michael Klinger has signed a two-year contract extension to remain with Gloucestershire.
The Autralian opening batsman, captain for both championship and one-day cricket, will stay at Bristol until 2017.
Klinger is rewarded for another prolific season with the bat in all forms.
The 35-year-old also remains the country's top scorer in this season's T20 Blast
Klinger said: "I'm extremely grateful that the club has given me some flexibility to be able to spend the majority of April and May with my family in Perth as, with such busy schedules in both Australia and the United Kingdom.
"This extra time to be a 'normal dad' is very important to me.
"I see my role over the next two seasons as continuing to score runs and helping Gloucestershire win games of cricket, but also to help develop future leaders at the club."
