Joy for Israel at Gymnastics World Cup

Israel's rhythmic gymnastics team won a gold and two silver medals at the World Cup in Espoo, Finland.

Yuval Filo, Alona Koshevatskiy, Ekaterina Levina, Karina Lykhvar and Ida Mayrin won gold in the hoops and clubs competition and silver in both the all-round and ribbons events.

The previous week the team had won two bronze medals in the Moscow Grand Prix.

The team, which won a silver medal in the five clubs event in the 2014 World Championships, has already qualified for the Rio Olympics.
