-----------------
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A
Russell Corin (GK) - very solid performance from the big man including one absolutely super save to keep Hendon in the game
Ben Kon (RB) - probably final ever Hendon appearance for the Hendon stalwart of over 10 years. Always produces on the big stage and faultless at right-back against the best Raiders wingers
Avi Korman (CM) - another all-action display and together with Last won the midfield battle – Fantastic winning goal which would have graced any final. A fabulous display.
Ari Last (CM) – a true skipper’s performance – ran himself into the ground – may just have nicked MOM from Avi Korman with a tremendous battling performance
Moses Seitler (AM) - simply ran Raiders ragged – looked dangerous whenever he had the ball and deserved a goal. One of the best Jewish footballers in the country
-----------------
NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A
JJ Spiro & David Rhodes (CB) – did not deserve to be on the losing side. First-class defensive displays from two Raiders stalwarts
L'EQUIPE
Richard Mail (GK) - What more can I ask? turned up as an emergency keeper and kept a clean sheet. Saved all the long shots that came his way and was a calming influence throughout
Andy Smith (S) - Didier Drogba would have been proud of this performance. Two class goals and a constant nightmare all game
Ian Baron - (D/M)- what a hero, right-back first half, centre-mid second half. 'Baz' was almost perfect all game. Defending superbly first half and then marshalling the defence breaking up everything that came his way in the second half. Nothing got through him or Dan Cordell which meant the defence were comfortable all game
-----------------
MACCABI LONDON LIONS B
Guy Surkis (CM) - a truly sensational performance, bossed the midfield and ran tirelessly all game
-----------------
FC TEAM B
David Grossman (CM) - cool calm and assured
Mitch Young (RM) - one great goal plus four assists
