NOMINATIONS
SPEC FC
Marc Hecht (CM) - worked tirelessly off the ball and it was a real captain's performance. His goal just before half time was crucial.
Alex Hershman (CM) - a different kind of performance from Hershey but I can't remember seeing someone run so much and then produce so much quality with the ball. Easily his best performance in a SPEC shirt
---------------------
REDBRIDGE JEWISH CARE A
Jason Goldstein (M) - a force of nature performance - he broke up play and distributed the ball very cleverly and was involved in everything
Sam Sollosi (M) - People forget how good he is because he gives a 9 out of 10 performance every week, he has added goals to his game this season and is unstoppable throughout the game, allowing other people to take a breather or play off him , he is technically excellent
---------------------
WOODFORD WANDERERS
Andy Levy (CM) - his performance in the second half will be hard to top
---------------------
BOCA JEWNIORS
Simon Englander (D) - put in a fine shift defensively, got forward well to help the attacks and capped the great performance with a great solo strike.
Anton Nyman (D) - skipper for the day and led by example, clearing just about every effort that came his way.
Gavin Fox (D) - Consistently solid at the back, not letting anything past him (and some great full commitment tackles in there)
Jacob Emanuel (D) - Solid performance and got forward effectively to make attacks whilst ensuring that clean sheet was kept intact with some great tackles. A very strong performance at RB, pulling off a superb last-ditch challenge at the death to keep the score at 1-0. First clean sheet of the season
Adrian Leibovitch (CM) - never stopped running, putting in challenges left right and centre to help the defence keep the first clean sheet of the season
Elio Elia (S) - played an important role in the win, coming back to help the midfield stride forward in search of goals. Was unlucky not to get a hat-trick
Jacob Emanuel (RB) - very strong performance, pulling off a superb last-ditch challenge at the death to keep the score at 1-0. First clean sheet of the season
---------------------
OAKWOOD B
Bobby Abrams (F) - cool character who relished leading the line today. Exquisite touch, tireless work-rate and wonderful finish late on
Dan Geey (CM) - an absolute warrior. These are the game that DG was born to play in. A leader and an example to all of the players
Rafi Bloom (M)- best game Jason Stein has "ever seen" from Bloomy out on the right-hand side. Tireless work-rate, exceptional positioning and good delivery. Did everything but score
---------------------
REAL SOSOBAD
Barry Green (S) - worked his socks off and scored two goals, finally getting back on the scoresheet as we all knew he would. Barry Kane, he's one of our own
Ashley Stanton (M) - finally finding his feet and getting his confidence back. Warrants much deserved praise for his persistence, thick skin and attitude. Used the ball well and created some excellent chances. A real hearty performance
---------------------
SCRABBLE FC
Ben Law (GK) - didn't make a mistake, some superb match-winning saves and safe for 90 minutes had no chance with the Faithfold goal
Adam Newman and Anthony Goodmaker (CBs) - so solid at the heart of the Scrabble defence
Danny Sherman (S) - outstanding again at centre forward with his hold up play and a real handful for the opposition to cope with
Elliot Espinoza (CM) - pulling all the strings in midfield as Captain on the day
Josh Sheridan (RW) - searing pace hard to cope with on the right
---------------------
NORTH LONDON RAIDERS A
Ben Ellis (RM) - unplayable in the first half, scoring one and setting up two. A constant threat down the right-hand side
Alex Kaye (CM) - all action midfield performance capped off with two well-taken goals
---------------------
FC TEAM C
Daniel Alfreds (LM) – 3 assists and always looking to create
Jonny Samuels (CM) – the new signing was solid in midfield throwing in some great challenges and blocks when needed
Freddie Marks (CF) – struck up a good relationship with Nicky Sugarman and then dropped back into midfield in the second half when Team needed the extra man there. Two goals to get off the mark for the season
---------------------
HENDON UNITED SPORTS CLUB A
Gav Kreiger (CB) - an unsung hero today – played his heart out with numerous important interceptions and tackles
