Republic of Flixton claimed the first part of a possible treble after defeating Haroldeans 2-0 to win the Harold Feldman Trophy.
Adam Wilson and Saul Shapiro were on target at Boundary Park as Republic avenged their recent league defeat by the Merseysiders.
"I thought we just edged it,” said joint-manager Stuart Delmonte.
"It was a very good football match between two sides that wanted to get the ball down and play in the right way.
"I think we deserved it in a game that was a great advert for the Manchester Jewish Soccer League."
Republic will look to seal the league title at FC Cosmos on Sunday.
