The side made history at the 2013 Maccabiah Games as they won their first-ever international matches - against Turkey and South Africa - to finish seventh overall.

Manager, George Goldstone, and Head Coach, Craig Harris, will be looking they can build on this achievement and take residence on the medals table in Germany.

Speaking about the selection and his expectations for the EMG, Goldstone, said: “The team has a good mix of players with a range of abilities, from experienced national and local league players to younger players who are bursting with potential.

"Our focus is to play an active 'team defence' which should make us a tough outfit to score against in Berlin, and help us compete for a medal.

"Craig Harris, Marc Dinner (Team Manager) and I have all enjoyed representing Maccabi GB in the past, and we look forward to helping the players have their own meaningful experiences from a sporting, Jewish and cultural perspective."
