Guttman names 25-squad for Bosnia test

articlemain

Israel manager Eli Guttman has named a 25-man squad for next week's vital Euro 2016 qualifier away to Bosnia.

Defeats against Wales and Belgium in March have left Israel with an uphill task to gain automatic qualification in Group B.

Israel started the group with a hat-trick of victories and Guttman remains confident he is the right man to lead Israel to what would be their first European Championship finals.

Squad:

Goalkeepers:
Ofir Martziano (Ashdod), Ariel Harush (Maccabi Netanya), Guy Haimov (Kiryat Shmona).

Defenders:
Eli Deisa (Beitar Jerusalem), Orel Degani (Maccabi Haifa), Tal Ben Haim (capt.) (free agent), Rami Gershon (Gent), Omri Ben Harush (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Eitan Tibi (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Shir Tzedek (Hapoel Kiryat Shmona), Avi Rikan (FC Zurich).

Midfielders: Nir Bitton (Celtic), Bibras Nakho (CSKA Moscow), Sheran Yeini (Vitesse Arnhem), Beram Kayal (Brighton), Eran Zahavi (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Roi Kahat (Kiryat Shmona), Maor Buzaglo (Hapoel Beer Sheva), Tal Ben Haim (Maccabi Tel Aviv), Dor Mika (Maccabi Tel Aviv), and Shlomi Azulai (Beitar Jerusalem).

Forwards: Tomer Hemed (Almeria), Omer Damari (Leipzig), Ben Sahar (Willem), Elyaniv Barda (Hapoel Beer Sheva).
