Dovi Fehler reminded the MGBSFL why he is one of the hottest properties around with a sensational six-goal salvo as Hendon avenged November's defeat against Lions by teaching the boys from Rowley Lane a lesson in a 9-0 procession.
Boss David Garbacz missed the wonder show but he was delighted by the news of such an emphatic victory ahead of an important double-header against Redbridge Jewish Care.
Garbacz told JC Sport: "I should go away far more often! According to stand-in boss Greg Corin: "We were absolutely superb across the park. We played with fantastic pace and scored some great goals.
"Golden boot contender Dovi Fehler did his prospects no harm at all with an amazing six goals all of them expertly finished and he has now scored 10 in his last two games.
"However yesterday was not all about one man as the entire team from 1 to 11 were all on top form and we simply blew away a decent Lions team who had beaten us earlier on in the year.
"We have responded just as we would have wanted since the Oakwood debacle scoring a whopping 17 goals in two games and we are nicely set up for two massive weeks against our old mates from Redbridge."
Lions joint-manager David Pollock told JC Sport: "Hendon were mature and ruthless throughout -you give them a chance and they murder you.
"They were far superior to us in every department, and I don't think there was a deliberate foul or argument the whole game."
