Two top young talents from outside of London have made it into our top team from season 2014/15.
1. JAKE DOFFMAN (NL Raiders A) – came close to retaining the Golden Gloves award after playing a key role in his team winning the double
2. RYAN COLE (Redbridge A) – “could easily be in team of year,” according to Sam Rosenthal. “He is one of the most gifted players in the league at 18/19 will get better and better”
3. ETHAN ZONE (Hendon A) – “left Raiders after not getting as much-game time as he would have wanted, moved to Hendon and cemented his place as first choice left-back. Speaking to a number of Hendon boys, he has been the best player for them all season”. He’s “impressed” Rob Richman in all three games NLR have played against them this season
4. HARRY LANDY (Leeds Maccabi 1st) – “first season at senior level having come through the ranks at Leeds Maccabi. 17-years-old and plays with the maturity of a 27-year-old! Helped contribute to the team only conceding 12 goals in the league this season. Very steady and comfortable with the ball with a big future ahead at this level.” He is the MJSL’s young player of the year
5. AVI KORMAN (Hendon A) - "sensational all year – has played in central midfield, full-back and central defence and is always one of our top performers wherever he plays. Scored some absolute crackers as well and is always the first name on the teamsheet. A top contender for either player or young player of the year"
6. SAM SOLLOSI (Redbridge JC B) – put chances on a plate for Golden Boy Garfinkle and scored a fair few himself. Division One Player of the Season. Premier Division defences watch out!
7. LIRON MANNIE (NL Raiders A) - the magical Mannie was the signing of the season as L'Orange ended their wait for major pieces of silverware. He scored 13 goals and contributed numerous assists before landing the MGBSFL Player of the Year accolade. "Liron has everything as a footballer. Amazingly skilful and talented but also has the most wonderful work-rate, never stops running"
8. DAVID SEITLER (Hendon A) – Best new act! “Burst onto the scene this year – scored over 15 goals in as many games, including two in the Morrison final”. The “most talented player” David Garbacz has “seen in the last few years. Typical stroppy teenager but fantastic to have around”
9. JORDAN MARKS (Leeds Maccabi/NLR A) – “won almost everything this year. Scoring in the Cyril Anekstein final for Raiders. Winning the league in London along with the treble for Leeds Maccabi. He contributes with assists and goals from both wings and has tormented defences in the MJSL
10. DANIEL GARFINKLE (Redbridge JC B) - the newly-crowned MGBSFL Young Player of the Year enjoyed an outstanding first season with his local club, registering 26 goals
11. ADAM ELLIS (Shacharit Donetsk) – Golden Boot winner and star man in Division Three of the MGBSL. Need I say any more?
