There were some scintillating performances in league and cup on Matchday 13 of the MGBSFL. Here's the pick of the bunch.
1. ED BLOOM (ML Lions Green) - "a string of stunning saves kept the Lions alive throughout and was commanding in the penalty area, plucking the ball out of the air to dispel attacks time and time again"
2. DALE BRADMAN (Boca Jewniors) - scored the goal that helped his team become only the second to deny Faithfold B maximum points and didn't put a foot wrong throughout
3. GARY CONWAY (Catford & Bromley) - "tireless all game long, winning lose balls, dominant in the air and got an assist at the death"
4. JACK DAVIS (Jewdinese) - "put in an outstanding shift" against Raiders C
5. LEE FEGAN (Temple Fortune) - "probably Jonathan Cohen's MOTM with some very strong and important tackles"
6. JO DAVIS (Los Blancos) - "scored a screamer from 20 yards out, topping a solid performance in the middle of the pitch"
7. DAN LASSMAN (Redbridge A) - "used the Faithfold game as a break from press commitments"
8. ALON HERSHKORN (FC Team A) - caused Whetstone endless problems out wide

MANAGER OF THE WEEK
Jonathan Cohen (Temple Fortune) - masterminded the team's first win of the season
