Here are my star men from Matchday 34 of the season.
1. RUSSELL CORIN (Hendon Utd SC A) - his team's outstanding player at Wingate in the Anekstein Cup final. Was the difference between 3-1 and a Raiders romp
2. JOSH PISTOL (NL Raiders A) - kept Hendon danger man Greg Corin quiet, got up and down well and almost scored a diving header
3. JON TOBY (FC Team B) - "brilliant when called upon to go into centre back, stopped LB danger man Simon Moses"
4. DAVID RHODES (NL Raiders A) - Raiders leader, hero, legend
5. BENJY ISRAEL (Los Blancos) - "led the defence well, and made a couple of excellent last-ditch challenges" against FC Team
6. JONNY KAY (NL Raiders A) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
7. DANIEL BREGER (FC Team B) - "won everything and stopped every attack" in BGT final
8. LIRON MANNIE (NL Raiders A) - scored the first, set up the third and denied several others by Russell Corin. Hendon could not handle him
9. RICHARD SALMON (FC Team A) - the big man will go down in FC Team folklore for scoring the goal that secured victory in their first Wingate final. "A constant threat"
10. JORDAN MARKS (NL Raiders A) - deserves a place in my top XI for THAT strike
11. MATT STOCK (NL Raiders A) - played Mannie in for the opener and showed tremendous pace and composure for the third. Tracked back well and produced a real shift
MANAGER: Rob Richman (NL Raiders A)
