It's good to see some new faces in the latest JC MSFL Team of the Week.
1. Jonny EVANS (Norstar B) – it was a case of Evans above as Jonny helped Norstar B register their result of the season with a stunning 4-1 success in Redbridge B’s back yard
2. Joel LASSMAN (Brady Maccabi B) – “playing at rb and then cb was fantastic showing great pace and power throughout against Bilbaum”
3. Brad GAYER (Chigwell Athletic) – summer signing Gayer has repaid his transfer fee and some. Showed star qualities in the double-header win over Faithfold
4. Richie CAPLIN (Redbridge Jewish Care A) – “makeshift centre back after Adam Hakimi limped off and was outstanding”
5. Jonny SAMUEL (Norstar C) – “put in another faultless display, both defensively and made a huge contribution going forward”
6. Josh GAON (Los Blancos) – “has been a revelation this season in central midfield, and has developed into a real Frank Lampard of a player. He's the ultimate box-to-box player, which he showed once again today with his knack of constantly breaking up opposition's attacks at one end, and always ending up in the other at the right place and at the right time to add to an already impressive scoring record”
7. Sam BENNETT (Camden Park) – “outstanding against Shirley, other than his miss of the season!”
8. Paul BABAI (Faithfold A) – champions are all about ugly 1-0 wins. Faithfold’s margin of victory should’ve been more emphatic but Babai ensured there was no way through for FC Team
9. Ethan ZONE (North London Raiders B) – terrorised the Glenthorne B defence. At the heart of everything good about L’Orange and scored a goal
10. Lee GREENFIELD (Southgate Harmen) – SEE JC PLAYER OF THE WEEK
11. Alex ELF (Hendon United Sports Club C) – four goals against Fortune B. Did what it says on the tin!
