Here are my star men from Matchday 28 of the MGBSFL.
1. DAVID GORDON (FC Team B) - SEE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
2. JOSH TIANO (NW Neasden) - "has got himself fitter, trimmer and has been our most-improved defender over the last few games. He won every header, every tackle and had time to get forward to give us that little bit extra in attack"
3. SCOTT BENSON (Brady Maccabi) - "outstanding performance from Mr Reliable. Solid" against Camden Park
4. PAUL RICH (Temple Fortune) - "both our centre halves were excellent (Paul and Gideon Wetrin) but Paul was excellent on the deck, in the air, making goal-saving tackles, nipping in front and winning the ball and finally was not afraid to take the ball out of defence and carry it over the halfway line. Superb"
5. ELLIOT COULTON (Real Sosobad) - "Coulton's positioning was second to none. He swept up brilliantly and similar to Shear in goal, he kept MGBSFL top-scorer Adam Ellis from adding to his huge tally of goals. An excellent display"
6. ETHAN ZONE (Hendon A) - "all-action left-back/left-wing performance - superb all game" against FC Team A
7. JOSH ROSE (Oakwood A) - "excellent on his return and Ric Blank's man-of-the-match in midfield" against Harmen
8. YOSH SILVERMAN (London Rovers) - "came off the bench to score and set up the winner" against King Crown
9. LIRON MANNIE (NL Raiders A) - "somewhere close to his unplayable best" against the Lions
10. DEAN NYMAN (Redbridge JC A) - fired a deadly double with including a sensational JC Goal of the Week strike
11. DAN ABRAMS (Oakwood B) - "made a long-awaited debut for Oakwood and marked it with a goal" against Hendon
MANAGERS: Ric Blank & Alex Schock (Oakwood A) - masterminding the win that shattered Harmen's title hopes
