Danny Caro's MGBSFL Young Team of the Season

articlemain

Some believe Jewish football is on its last legs. This XI will tell you otherwise.

1. JAKE DOFFMAN (NL Raiders A) - last season's top stopper conceded the fewest goals in the league and was a key factor in his team landing the double

2. ETHAN ZONE (Hendon A) - "left Raiders after not getting as much-game time as he would have wanted, moved to Hendon and cemented his place as first choice left-back. Speaking to a number of Hendon boys he has been the best player for them all season (under 21/new signing). He’s impressed me in all 3 games we have played against them this season"

3. RYAN COLE (Redbridge A) - "one of the most gifted players in the league at 18/19 will get better and better"

4 AVI KORMAN (Hendon A) - "sensational all year – has played in central midfield, full-back and central defence and is always one of our top performers wherever he plays. Scored some absolute crackers as well and is always the first name on the team sheet. Must be a top contender for either player or young player of the year"

5. SAM SOLLOSI (Redbridge JC B) - " small in stature but a giant of a player on the pitch. Twinkle-toed, possesses some sick skills and certainly knows where the goal is. Division One Player of the Year"

6. ADAM ARNOLD (North West Neasden) - teenager was a shining light for NWN this season and one of the reasons why they avoided relegation

7. DAVID SEITLER (Hendon A) - "burst on to the scene this year – scored over 15 goals in as many games including two in the Morrison final. The most talented player I’ve seen in the last few years. Typical stroppy teenager but fantastic to have around!"

8. LIRON MANNIE (NL Raiders A) - "MGBSFL Player of the Year. NLR boss Rob Richman told JC Sport: "Liron has everything as a footballer. Amazingly skilful and talented but also has the most wonderful work-rate, never stops running. 21 starts 13 goals and over 15 assists"

9. ADAM ELLIS (Shacharit Donetsk) - "Golden Boot winner and star man in Division Three of the MGBSL. he just couldn't be stopped. A great player, fantastic finisher and could play for any team in the Prem"

10. DANIEL GARFINKLE (Redbridge JC B) - " it was a no-brainer for Garfinkle to join RJC from Hendon. He hit the ground running and scored goals for fun, including for the A-team in the Premier. Hit five hat-tricks in his debut season. A fantastic predator and natural-born finisher. Teams couldn't work out how to stop a player who is almost as quick as Usain Bolt!"

11. DOVI FEHLER (Hendon Utd SC A) - enjoyed a terrific season for the Morrison winners which resulted in a call-up for Team Maccabi GB
