Danny Caro's Goal of the Week: September 23

articlemain

Forget JC Goal of the Week. I think we have a leading contender for Goal of the Season here.

It was a crying shame the cameras missed NICKY WOOLF's sensational opener against Scrabble FC, as described by North London Raiders B joint-manager Jonathan Adelman.

"It took a moment of genuine brilliance to break the deadlock against Scrabble - Woolf playing his first game since his recent marriage, dropped deep to pick up the ball 35 yards out after 33 minutes. He somehow stayed upright riding challenges from two Scrabble midfielders at the same time before hammering a 30-yard screamer in to the roof of the net."

---------------------

- ZAC LEWIS (Hendon A) - brilliant 25-yard free-kick giving keeper no chance

- ROCKY SPITZER (Hendon A) - fabulous team goal spreading play from left to right intricate pass from Dovi Fehler to Rocky bursting into box to finish coolly

- BENJI WEINBERGER (ML Lions B) - scored a glorious goal from 25 yards which was an arrow into the corner and the keeper could not move a muscle

- DOM FELDMAN (ML Lions B) - picked the ball up behind the half way line, dribbled past five opponents before tucking it away with his weak foot
