articlemain

When ELLIOT BLOOM hits one, it stays his. His strike against L'Equipe was something quite special indeed as he picked up the ball 40 yards out and unleashed a stunning strike which looped over the goalkeeper.

As the ball nestled into the net, there were roars from the crowd: "You beauty, What a belter, Pick that one out." Yes, it really did tick all the boxes ...

BEST OF THE REST

- ANDY SMITH (L’Equipe) – GOAL 1 - placed a free-kick from the edge of the box into the top left=hand corner, leaving the goalkeeper with no chance

- ANDY SMITH (L’Equipe) – GOAL 2 - a superb through ball and even better finish from Andy again

- ELLIOTT MOSLAWY (NLR A) - picked up the ball on the left touchline, beat his full-back and then nutmegged the centre back before drilling a right-footed shot into the top corner from the edge of the box. An exceptional first goal for the club

- WILL UFLAND (NL Raiders C) - Goal 3 - received the ball on the halfway line and ran at the Catford backline. Beat 2 players on his way into the box and faced with a one-on-one, cooly slotted the ball passed the keeper for his hat-trick
