Danny Caro's Division 2 TOTS

articlemain

My top team from Division Two is awash with L'Orange and easter promise.

1. DAVID SIMNOCK (NL Raiders B) - Simmo's big-match experience proved crucial in a title-winning success. Made some big saves at crucial times and commanded his area.

2. RICHARD GOLD (Redbridge Jewish Care B) - "Very solid performer, capable of playing equally as well at left back or centre back".

3. JORDAN SAPLER (Redbridge Jewish Care B) - "Immense at the back, ultra consistent, tackled like a 1970’s throw back and popped up with some key goals"

4. PAUL SAVITZ (FC Team B) - "has dominated the midfield in most games, making crucial challenges at the back. Also chipped in with a few important goals, a couple of them goal of the season contenders".

5. DAVE ESTERKIN (NL Raiders B) - "The ‘Beast’ dominated game after game, insatiable energy, crunching tackles and sublime finishing saw him finish with 16 goals from 14 matches. Goodness knows what damage he’d have done if he’d been available every game"/

6. MITCH LASSMAN (FC Team B) - "injured for the first half of the season but no coincidence that things picked up once he returned. Finished the season with better than a goal a game record."

7. NATHAN SOLLOSI (Redbridge Jewish Care B) - "The young midfield general registered 20 goals, performing with pace, power and aggression. "The best player in the league, in all divisions,” according to his manager."

8. SCOTT OLDSTEIN (Redbridge Jewish Care B) - "Speed, aggression and wing wizardry"

9. NICKY WOOLF (NL Raiders B) - "Woolf, who bagged 26 in all competitions and took on the captaincy mid way through the season, has matured in to a real leader as well as thriving back in his favoured central striker position".

10. BEN ZLOOF (AC Mill Hill) - once again, the goal machine didn't disappoint

11. DAVID JOSEPH COHEN (FC Team C) - contributed heavily to the division's top scorers
