Andy Landesberg is confident his London Lions team can lift the Anagram Records Cup for the first time when they take on Springfield FC in the final on Saturday.
The Lions have reached the final at Letchworth FC following a strong run that has seen them beat The 61FC, Letchworth Garden City, Belstone and newly crowned league champions Standon & Puckeridge.
Ahead of the tussle against a Springfield team who lie fourth in the Essex Olympian Premier Division, Landesberg said: "The team has really developed this season and is competing well in the Herts County League.
"While we can’t win that prize now, a trophy is always a great reward for the effort that’s gone into the season, so we are very focused on winning it.
"This trophy will be amongst the biggest prizes that the club has ever won if we can bring it back to Rowley Lane."
