Golf Thirteen teams and 114 lady golfers contested the 13th Ladies’ National Tournament for the UK Jewish golf clubs and societies at Whitefield Golf Club in Manchester.
Torrential rain caused a half-hour delay to the start and play was suspended for a further hour during the morning. But when the sun finally shone, there were some excellent finishing scores. Alison Levy from Abridge had a hole-in-one on the par three 5th.
Coombe Hill took the main prize, the Team Gross Trophy. Dyrham Park won five trophies, the host club and Hartsbourne three and Potters Bar and Edmondstown one apiece.
