Omri Casspi has agreed a two-year contract extension with the Sacramento Kings worth $3 million a year.
Casspi, 27, ended the season in his best ever form since joining the NBA in 2009. The Israeli 6ft 9in forward scored an average 20 points per game in the final month of the season.
Casspi played for the Kings for two seasons and then joined the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Houston Rockets before returning “home” to Sacramento last summer. He said: “I’m proud to be staying at Sacramento. I want to lead the Kings to the NBA playoffs."
