Bosz leaves Maccabi Tel Aviv for Ajax

articlemain

Peter Bosz, the manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv, has signed a three-year deal with Ajax Amsterdam, replacing Frank De Boer.

Bosz was confirmed as the new Ajax boss less than 24 hours after Maccabi lost the Israeli FA Cup final to Maccabi Haifa.

The defeat marked the end of a frustrating season for Bosz and Tel Aviv who were pipped to the Ligat Ha'Al title by Hapoel Beer Sheva.

Ajax representatives have also been in Israel to hold talks with Maccabi captain Eran Zahavi and are also reportedly interested in signing Maccabi goalkeeper Predrag Rajkovic.
