Where do the super-wealthy like to go? The Caribbean. That's the conclusion of a new report by Wealth-X, which monitors the super-rich. The Caribbean ultra-high-net-worth (UHNW) population increased by 2.1 per cent last year. The kind of property they buy includes Palazzate on Barbados (pictured). It offers 75,000 sq ft of living space (about the same size as a big Tesco)with four five-bedroom ocean-front residences, each covering an average of 13,000 sq ft, underground parking for 18 cars, staff areas with laundry, kitchens, private access lifts and biometric controls and boat berths at nearby Port Ferdinand Marina. The asking price is US$125 million (around £79 million).
