Asian Lady Writing Notebook Diary Concept

What is it like being a Jewish young adult today? We’re looking for talented young writers to tell us what matters to them, how they see their Jewish identity, what they’d like to change.

If you’re a pupil at a secondary school in the UK, to enter our Young Writers competition please send us an article or short story, 500 words maximum, in a Word document, to youngwriters@thejc.com by March 1, 2021.

Your entry should touch on some aspect of being Jewish in 2021. Send us a covering letter with your name, age and address and the name and address of your school.

Scholastic UK will donate a box of books to the winner’s school library and copies of the JC's associate editor Keren David’s What We’re Scared Of to all the runners up. The winning entries will be published in the JC. See www.thejc.com for terms and conditions.
