Oh how they twist the words!

The racist blogger seizes on one sentence in an op-ed in Haaretz which mentions the theory of a German jurist in passing from which he publishes reams of information which is totally irrelevant to the op-ed. If you read it, it is in Hebrew you will see that in the next sentence the writer mentions former Chief Justice Aharon Barak does that then make the writer an ultra liberal? Why no reams of information about him?
However the real reason the racist blogger tries to denigrate the writer is because of the last paragraph of the op-ed which reads:
מעניין יהיה אז לראות מי תומך במגילת העצמאות שמכריזה על זהותה היהודית של המדינה, ואיננה מזכירה כלל את המלה דמוקרטית - ומי מתנגד לה. מעניין גם יהיה אז לראות מי הוא דמוקרט אמיתי, כזה התומך ברצון העם, ומי בעד תיאוקרטיה חילונית, הבזה לרצון הרוב בשם ערכים מעוותים.
He of course will never admit that the Declaration of Independence speaks of the Jewish identity of the State but nowhere mentions the word democratic. And yet he tries to give the impression he is a democrat but he is not because in common with the extreme left he does not believe in or respect the will of the people if it does not accord with his own twisted view of life which although sad and pathetic is racist nevertheless.
