What a gathering of the vile and the vicious! Under the umbrella of the Arab Organisation for Human Rights, the invitation to a meeting at the House of Lords noted that "David Ward MP will honour us with his attendance." No joke was intended. And who should be chairing the meeting than Lauren Booth, who misses no opportunity to give Israel a kicking (however ineffective her witterings may be).
Ms Booth happens, of course, to be the half-sister of Cherie Booth - who spent a day last week speaking to Israeli women under the umbrella of the Israeli Business Club. What a contrast. This Ms Booth spoke about empowerment for Jewish and Arab women. One Booth is bigoted and offers nothing of worth. The other speaks of hope and practical good. We know which sibling we prefer.
