The evidence shows that antisemitism is rising and we need firm action when we see it. But the decision of Transport for London to ban a poster for the hit play Bad Jews because one person had complained takes political correctness to even more idiotic levels.
You would have to be both illiterate and lacking in basic common sense to believe that the poster was some sort of antisemitic campaign. TfL appears to think its customers are just that, and cannot cope with seeing the word “Jew” in large font next to the word “bad”. Their decision makes a mockery of genuine antisemitism and should be reversed immediately.
