Strange Armbach regurgitating a story from 2010 does he in fact keep up with the news. Never mind the status of Ariel College will not be an issue - it is illegal and would be beyond the union's powers and unlawful for the union, directly or indirectly, to call for or to implement a boycott by the union and its members of any kind of Israeli universities and other academic institutions: and that the use of union funds directly or indirectly to further such a boycott would also be unlawful.
On the other hand it would be interesting to see boycotters confronted by leading international lawyers quoting chapter and verse as why it is and always has been lawful for Israel to settle Judea and Samaria. However the fact is that this has nothing to do with the law but with politics and the virtual control of the UCU by the SWP. The UK has by word and deed clearly indicated its bias against Israel which means it could not be trusted by Israel to be an impartial venue for such litigation. A sorry comment on the current state of the British judiciary.
Armbach continues in la la land
