articlemain

Desert Island Discs presenter Kirsty Young was the guest speaker at the annual Jewish Women’s Aid lunch. The event, which attracted over 350 women, was held at The Pillar in Hendon, where a marquee was put up in the grounds. The lunch raised more than £155,000 for the women and their children who live in the JWA refuge in London, and for the charity’s education and awareness programmes.
