Sandra Howard attracted 120 guests to the Friends of Ort annual summer lunch. The novelist and wife of the former Tory Party leader Michael Howard talked about her career and the challenges of writing about love. “Ort is doing a fantastic job,” she told the guests at the Landmark Hotel in central London. The event raised £20,000 towards a rocket-proof science and technology centre at the new Sha’ar HaNegev High School campus in Israel
