Nearly 300 people went to the launch party for Young Jewish Care’s Rock committee. Jamie Landesberg, chairman of the new committee, said: “The event was a great success. The dedication of the committee could be seen from the number of people who attended the night. Rock is already looking to plan another great night in order to continue raising money for this worthy cause. We would like to extend our thanks to all who supported us.” The night, entitled Glam Rock, was held at Parker McMillan club in London’s East End and raised £6,000 for Jewish Care
