A group of 12 Jews from wartorn Kyrgyzstan were among those greeted at a Jewish Agency reception in Jerusalem.

Nearly 700 new olim came to Israel on 20 flights from countries including France and Belgium. The new arrivals were welcomed to Israel at the special ceremony on Mount Scopus.
