The holiday edit

articlemain

As a family of five, there's plenty of luggage and packing when the holiday season arrives, but ironically the only woman in the house, a.k.a me, packs the least amount before a trip abroad. Even my husband is privy to trying to squeeze a sixth pair of shoes into his suitcase, just-in-case. Since my challenging brood came on the scene, my just-in-case items no longer exist. Now, the most important things to remember are mountains of nosh and of course an iPad to keep the little ones (and my husband) entertained.

Although I've scaled back on my wardrobe, I haven't on my style. I've mastered the art of whittling down the chic-est holiday essentials that can be seemingly mixed and matched to create a capsule wardrobe that is as easy to wear, as it is to pack. (Though I haven't quite achieved this when it comes to my toiletries and make-up bag! )Whether you're going on a beach holiday or a city break, these investment buys will see you through summer and get you holiday-ready in a flash.
