Shul in the Park held a pre-Purim evening for women. The event , organised by Tzirl Jacobs, was held at the home of Debra Clapham and began with a jewellery beading workshop by Shirley Brown - the 20 participants all went home with a pair of earrings that they had made themselves using semi-precious stones and fixings. The gathering also heard a talk by Mrs Jacobs about the festival which was followed with making chocolate dipped and decorated hamantashen.
