Racing to £50k windfall

articlemain

Norwood fielded the largest communal contingent of runners, who generated £50,000 for the children and families organisation. It included one of the fastest charity finishers, Andrea Fraquelli, who clocked 2:48.

Another of the group, Lawrence Glass, said hearing family and friends cheer him on around mile 24 "was an incredible feeling. Somehow I managed to get over the finishing line, at which point I was incredibly emotional. I had never imagined how hard the whole experience was going to be and I was so proud of what I had achieved."

Other runners were Nick Bernstein, Joshua Bugg, Aron Taylor, Verity Alexis, Mark and Amy Teperson, Danielle Kleynhans, Marcelle Stotter, Steven Adams, David Mercado, Alan Lambert, Mark Korn, Paul Silverman, Andrew and Jake McCormick and Richard Payman.
