Langdon is celebrating receiving a positive report as a result of a recent local authority inspection of its Hertfordshire care services.

The Jewish charity which supports adults and young people with learning disabilities received a score of 75 per cent - ranking it firmly in the Good category and only a few points away from a score of “excellent”.

The report praised the Hertfordshire teams and Langdon, stating that “it’s all very positive”, noting that “members enjoy a high degree of independence” and that Langdon maintains “excellent record keeping”.

Langdon’s head of operations, Lyndsay Donald, said: “We are thrilled with the very positive and well deserved outcome from the inspection. We know that the quality of care that is provided not only in Hertfordshire but across Langdon is high, and it is wonderful to be properly recognised for it. We know that there are always ways to improve, and at the heart of everything we do is always the person with the learning disability whom we are supporting. We will take this brilliant outcome and we will use it to understand further how we as a whole team can continue to develop and provide only the very highest levels of care. I am very proud of our care teams and the extraordinary amount of hard work that everyone puts into Langdon.”
