Every so often, one is tempted to think that Jeremy Corbyn and his acolytes have reached the nadir of their relationship with decency. It is a temptation that must be resisted. The evidence is clear that there is worse to come.

Thirty six hours after his appearance at JW3 , attempting to woo Jewish Labour voters, an official ‘Jeremy for Labour’ campaign video was published which showed that he considers the issue of antisemitism among his supporters to be rubbish.

Literally so: the video portrays such concerns as rubbish to be tossed, sneeringly, into the bin. It shows deliberate, pre-planned contempt towards anyone who is troubled by antisemitic abuse.

After enough decent people reacted with horror, the video was pulled . But the message is clear. All Mr Corbyn’s social media accounts posted it approvingly. Clearly those around him regarded the video as entirely appropriate. One has to wonder how anyone with a basic moral compass can remain in a party that is now in the duplicitous hands of Mr Corbyn and his acolytes.
