Rehearsing with 120 members of the community who have put themselves forward to be in Gareth’s FRS choir and during the Rosh Hashanah morning service (and again on Simchat Torah) Gareth will be turning the whole community into his choir, teaching everyone this new song and conducting so the community sing together. FRS wanted to create a way of holding the mixed feelings of this New Year and acknowledge the complexities of celebrating people’s survival of a pandemic and yet recognising how fragile it has left people feeling and how many were lost in this painful way.
