It will take place in north Manchester

The Jewish community in Manchester is holding a vigil at 3pm today in north Manchester for the victims of yesterday’s attack at Heaton Park Hebrew Congregation.
The synagogue attack, which saw suspect Jihad Al-Shamie ram his car into members of the public, before getting out and stabbing people, left two members of the shul community dead and three seriously injured in hospital. The attacker was shot dead at the scene.
The victims have been named as Adrian Daulby, 53, and Melvin Cravitz, 66.
Police have said that one of the victims who died in the attack and another who was injured were likely shot by armed officers aiming for the killer.
Issuing a statement shortly after the atrocity, the Jewish Representative Council of Greater Manchester and Region, which is organising the vigil, said: “This horrendous attack is the culmination of two years of constant Jew hatred targeting our community by those who wish to attack us because of the war between Israel and Hamas in Gaza. It is an event that every Jewish person in the UK has feared.
“Our thoughts and prayers are with those members of our community who have been injured in this attack, and we will provide them and their families with all the support they require. We want to thank GMP, CST and the other emergency services for their swift response and to the Government for their messages of support.”
They paid tribute to CST and the first responders, saying they “saved many lives and we will all be eternally grateful to them”.
The council called on the wider public to join them at the vigil “in honour of the victims …and to show solidarity with the Manchester Jewish community”.
