It is not the first time that the First Granddaughter has been cast into the media spotlight for her proficiency in Mandarin. Earlier this year she and her mother attended Chinese New Year celebrations at the country’s embassy in America.
Later that day, Ivanka posted a video on Instagram of Arabella singing in Mandarin, together with a message for the New Year.
And when the Chinese premier and his wife Peng Liyuan visited Mr Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida back in April, she was called upon to show off her talent once again.
Arabella is reported to have been learning the language from her Chinese nanny since she was just 18 months. This year’s New Year greeting was the third that she has recorded.
Her most recent offering featured a children’s song about sweeping rice fields, a jade-green river and a lake studded with lotus flowers. She also recited an ancient text used to teach children the values of Confucianism, as well as another song and two poems.
