articlemain

Donald Trump missed the brit milah of his youngest grandson Theodore in New York last weekend.

The Republican candidate’s daughter Ivanka – who wore a white and pink dress to the brit of her baby - converted to Judaism in 2009 and took the Hebrew name Yael to marry property developer Jared Kushner.

The couple, who keep a fully kosher home, have three children together: Arabella, five; three-year-old Joseph; and Theodore, who was born on March 27.

After the brit, assistants were seeing carrying the ceremonial pillow on which the infant was carried to a nearby car.

Mogul Mr Trump is currently battling rival Ted Cruz for votes in Wisconsin.
