Terrorist attacks in Israel rose by almost a third in October from the previous month, according to figures released by Israel’s security agency, the Shin Bet.
The number of incidents climbed from 109 in September to 153, up 29 per cent and representing the steepest monthly increase this year, the JTA reported.
In the worst attack last month, two Israelis were killed in a shooting in Ammunition Hill in Jerusalem.
But the October figure was still lower than the monthly average of 170 incidents for 2016, JTA said.
