The Metropolitan Police are urgently trying to find a man in East London caught on video talking of beheading “dirty Jews”.
The police were alerted to it on Friday by the Orthodox defence group Shomrim which called the video circulating on social media “horrific”.
In it, the man shouts “Free Palestine, from the river to the sea”.
He goes on to say: “The Jews, you’re gonna get beheaded one by one, you dirty Jews,” making chopping gestures with his hands.
The provenance of the video clip, which was filmed on Whitechapel Road, Tower Hamlets, is unclear. The man appears to be in a group in the street and directing his comments to someone filming him.
